This month, the conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (#CVPR2020) went fully virtual, with members of the research community gathering online to discuss key topics and research in the field. Amazon scientists presented 10 papers and participated in a number of co-located workshops and tutorials throughout the conference.
During the event, Charlie Bell, senior vice president of Amazon Web Services, recorded a fireside chat with Dr. Jitendra Malik, the Arthur J. Chick Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley, where he also holds appointments in vision science, cognitive science, and bioengineering.
